Artificial Grass can be a great way to make your yard look great, reduce maintenance and eliminate extra water usage. The cost for artificial grass (materials only) can range from approximately $2 to $4 a square foot. Installation would be additional. However, for a 10 foot by 10 foot square (100 square feet) you could be looking at a couple hundred dollars if you installed it yourself. Not too bad for a maintenance-free solution to making your yard and lawn look great.

I have found that flagstone really adds a nice touch to any backyard. Usually in the form of a walkway or a pad, flagstone puts that final finish on any hard landscaping. Outdoor firepits are also a cool addition to any flagstone pad. Simply put your circular firepit in the middle of your pad and trim flagstone around the top of the firepit. It will add that extra flare you need to your landscaping project.
